AquaPure pH Down is the Perfect Solution for Pool Water Balance and is a safer alternative to hydrochloric acid (liquid Pool Acid), to reduce the pH and lower the total alkalinity in the pool water.
AquaPure pH Down is easy to handle and dissolves quickly, ensuring even distribution throughout your pool water.
Safe to handle
Soluble in water
Long shelf life
No fumes
Lowers pH in swimming pools & spas

To Lower pH
Test the pH of the pool or spa water with a reliable kit using fresh testing reagents.
If the pH is above 7.8, add AquaPure pH Decreaser according to the dosage table “ TO LOWER pH.”
Dissolve the calculated amount of AquaPure pH Decreaser in a plastic bucket of water. Use a wooden stick for stirring.
When dissolved, pour the solution into the pool or spa, distributing it over the whole surface.
Run the filter while adding AquaPure Decreaser to ensure adequate distribution throughout the pool or spa.
Allow 2 to 3 hours before testing the ph level again.
Make further addition if necessary.
Dosage Rate: 60g per 10,000L - 20,000L ( Maximum dosage per day)
Test and Monitor Regularly: It is recommended to test the pool water’s pH regularly, at least 2-3 times a week. This helps them stay proactive and make small adjustments as needed, preventing drastic pH imbalances.
Balance Alkalinity First: Before addressing pH, ensure the total alkalinity is within the recommended range (usually 80-120 ppm). Proper alkalinity levels act as a buffer, helping to stabilize pH fluctuations. If the alkalinity is off, adjust it before tackling pH adjustment.
Maintain Proper Circulation: it is recommended to run the pool pump and filter system for a few hours after adding pH Decreaser. Proper circulation helps evenly distribute the product and promotes consistent water chemistry throughout the pool.
