How to Use:

  1. 500g per 10,000 Litres of pool water raises sunscreen levels by 50ppm. In pool maintenance, levels between 30 and 50ppm are ideal.

  2. There is no added benefit of levels above 50ppm, however levels over 100ppm will cause a chlorine lock, meaning chlorine is ineffective.


 
Tips:

  1. Monitor Stabiliser Levels: Regularly test your pool water's cyanuric acid (stabiliser) levels using a reliable test kit. Aim to maintain the recommended range (usually 30-50 ppm for outdoor pools). Monitoring levels helps prevent over-stabilisation, which can reduce chlorine effectiveness.

  2. Only use Sunscreen Tablets in an outdoor pool: the use of Sunscreen Tablets in indoor pools is not required as UV rays are not an issue for indoor pools.

  3.  Follow Manufacturer's Instructions: Adhere to the manufacturer's guidelines, this includes the number of tablets to add. Over dosing can lead to imbalanced water chemistry.
